Представлены литературные данные об актуальности проблемы тромбоэмболических осложнений при фибрилляции предсердий, об особенностях антикоагулянтной терапии при данной патологии. Описана взаимосвязь клинических характеристик пациента с алгоритмами подбора дозы антикоагулянта. Рассмотрена проблема этических вопросов выхода больных из клинических исследований и динамика показателей качества их жизни на фоне длительного приема антикоагулянта.
