The article analyzes the possibility of using various types of testing in a lecture on the discipline "Metrology and standardization". Both positive and negative aspects of the use of pedagogical tests are considered. The authors of the article propose, for the objectivity of assessing the knowledge gained by students, to use testing only for current control.
