Contours of the «Deep State»: goals and objectives

The author considers the «deep state» as a force that can undermine the legitimacy of the current government. The «deep state» is a hybrid combination of elements of government and subjects of financial and industrial capital, capable of managing the real political process not only in the country, but also beyond its borders. The features and structure of the «deep state» are considered using the example of the United States.
