Outlines of topological urban planning

Today there are two ontological pictures of the world: those of subject-centrism and topocentrism. The first one is associated with anthropocentrism, i.e. a worldview declaring that man is the center of the universe. The second is associated with ecocentrism requiring consideration of human needs in the context of the natural needs on the basis of combining inert and living nature into a single system. The pandemic, as well as climatic, economic, resource-related and military crises require a transition to a new post-Darwinian theory of evolution. Therefore, topocentrism will become the leading scientific picture of the world in the future. Object-centrism is characterised by the attributive characteristics (properties) of individual objects as the object of studies, whereas topocentrism is aimed at the research of geometric properties of space and the whole. The topological approach to population and economic entity distribution necessitates their single space-time continuum consideration, drawing on the properties of the natural environment in which they are placed. Taking into account historical experience, basic principles of topological urban planning are possible to develop.
