Convention on the rights of the child as an international legal guarantee of the legal status of juvenile suspects, defendants in criminal proceedings

This article discusses a number of the theses of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Their connection with the legal status of juvenile suspects in the Russian criminal trial is shown. The author recognizes the role and importance of the international legal regulation as a guarantee of the implementation of the legal status of juvenile suspects and accused.
