Today, waves of migrants are crossing state borders, changing the ethno-cultural landscape of both Europe and Russia itself. In this context, the experience of Japan, which 100 years ago, the frst of the industrial States, began to accept, “digest” Korean “guest workers” (by 1945, 2 million people) is interesting. During the frst world war, the military orders placed in Japan by its allies caused the rapid growth of military production and the need for labor resources, which were replenished by labor migrants. Koreans were in demand in those segments of the Japanese economy in which work was ignored by the aboriginal population. The article provides an analysis of the causes of the Korean massacres in Japan in September 1923, which were: 1) the actions of the different branches of government with the aim to move the popular anger on the Koreans; 2) as if a spontaneous, mass, antiquarische hysteria of the population, as a result of the inductively induced will of the country leaders. “Induced psychosis” is a term coined by late-19th-century psychiatrists who have established that mental disorders can be “contagious”, transmitted during the exchange of information. Like a computer virus, mass paranoid psychosis can reach large population.
