Corn is an annual plant that occupies an important place in agriculture both in Russia and internationally. Its value is determined, first of all, by high nutrition for the needs of animal husbandry, as well as a wide range of applications in the food industry. In this regard, there is a tendency towards an increase in the area allocated for corn crops. Work is actively underway to create highly efficient hybrids that have increased resistance to various diseases and pests, are capable of producing high yields and are characterized by excellent seed sowing properties. The nutritional value of feed is influenced by its chemical composition, which in turn is influenced by the genetics of the hybrids, weather conditions, and agricultural practices. Corn grain stands out for its high energy value, ahead of most other crops in this indicator. However, its nutritional value has its own characteristics: it contains less raw protein, but more fat than other grain feeds. The objects of research were selected medium-early corn hybrids, such as P8521, Rotango, Eurostar, Epilogue, Hubble with different precocity indices. In the course of studying the fodder characteristics of mid-early corn hybrids, it was found that the level of crude protein varied between 9.20 and 9.43%. The content of crude fiber was 2.55- 2.66%, crude fat – 4.22-4.26%, crude ash – 1.43-1.45%. Productivity is one of the main indicators, since it depends on the agricultural practices used during the cultivation period and soil and climatic conditions. In our experience, the yield of mid-early hybrids was 6.67-7.91 t/ha.`
