Corporate social responsibility of business (hereinafter referred to as CSR) is a concept that assumes that businesses are responsible for the consequences of their impact on the society and the environment. CSR includes actions to improve social living conditions, fulfilment of environmental obligations as well as active participation in development of education, science, culture, sport, etc. The article considers current trends in formation of corporate social responsibility of business in Russia and factors affecting its functioning.
