The article aims to analyze and evaluate single-industry towns and town-forming enterprises practice with a focus on corporate social responsibility role in providing sustainable development. Given research is completed by the use of several methods. First of all, to define current state of town-forming enterprises and single-industry towns bibliographic and statistical analysis is taken. Secondly, to highlight peculiarities of corporate social responsibility of this kind of enterprises logical and system approaches are used. Thirdly, to define the main stakeholders and their role in providing sustainable development of town-forming enterprises, single-industry towns and regions, deductive method is employed. Systematic analysis of single-industry towns and town-forming enterprises current state is provided within the current research. Corporate social responsibility is identified to be one of the main factors when generating sustainable development.
