Corporate education: its aims and features

The author presents theoretical-didactical analysis of corporate education practices. He compares ‘learning’ vs. ‘managerial’ approaches to corporate education, and related educational practices. Priorities of corporate education are exposed, including priority of corporate/managerial aims over learning goals, and transformation of corporate/managerial aims into learning goals. Corporate learning and education are described as ‘embedded’, i.e. serving other priorities, like corporate, managerial, production, prognostic, etc.).‘Natural’ cycle of experience-based learning, and related interactive approach to education are analyzed. The author presents cyclical models used in corporate education. Transformative education is suggested as a tool for innovative education as a process of generating and transferring new experience; its major phases are described.
