The article discusses the concept of corporate publications, the history of the emergence and development trend of this institution among the media. The concept of a corporation and corporate publications is analyzed in detail. Opposite approaches are given in relation to this category. The history of the emergence of corporate publications, including their emergence and implementation in Russia, is analyzed. The corporate press published by higher educational institutions is singled out as the most important means of implementing the information policy of educational corporations. A typology of modern corporate student publications is given, and the place of university publications in the system of corporate media is analyzed.
