Measurement error correction of Clark oxygen electrode autoconsumption

The paper presents a technique for correcting Clark electrode readings with consideration of autoconsumption. Autoconsumption can introduce a considerable error in measurements of the rate of oxygen consumption by the culture cells. It has been shown that consideration of autoconsumption in studying the cell respiration physiology reduces markedly this error.
