Correction of students' knowledge: some methodological aspects

The article is devoted to the little-studied phenomenon in the sphere of pedagogy - correction of students' knowledge that is closely connected with pedagogical diagnostics. The article outlines methodological ap-proaches to studying correction of knowledge at philo-sophical, general scientific, particular scientific and technological levels of consideration. The purposes and functions of correction of knowledge, its objects and subjects, laws and principles are allocated.
