Penis size is an important criterion of reproductive and sexual health, gender identity, psychological comfort, the life quality of the male population. The authors made measurements of the penis size, including the stretch length, of 75 boys and young men aged 17-39 years and examined their correlation with body composition and level of blood serum testosterone. They found that the stretch length of the penis represents the amount by 6 cm greater than 95 % of flaccid length. Correlation analysis of the penis size with the composition of the body showed high values of statistically significant positive correlations are common to all absolute values of the body components, including subcutaneous body fat mass, body weight, body mass index, but not testosterone levels. In contrast to the penis size, testosterone level positively correlated with the relative index of skeletal muscle mass and negatively - with the relative index of body fat mass. The indices of central obesity, except for the waist/arm ratio, testosterone levels, age and body length did not correlate with the studied parameters of the penis. The author discusses the significance of the results for the overall assessment of male reproductive health.
