Correlation of folk culture and artwork in the applied decorative arts

Applied decorative arts preserves the artistic traditions of national crafts, becomes the most important factor in the development of folk culture, regulates origins of people's spiritual life, demonstrates the aesthetic value of folk culture. The paper defines the basic features of applied decorative arts such as necessity, functionality, relevance and structure. The functional definition of the studied phenomenon such as the correlation of folk culture and artwork with in applied decorative arts is given.
