In this article the place of corruption culture is considered in the system of threats to national security of Russia. The main approaches to the understanding of national security are studied; the reflection of the corruption threat in the statements of the Strategy of National Security of Russia is highlighted. The author pays particular attention to the corruption culture, the depth of its penetration into the essence of social relations, morality and psychology of citizens. Corruption is recognized as a key threat to national security and it requires adjustment of the existing anti-corruption policy of the state. However, currently more obviously disturbing trend is traced: corruption ceases to be perceived as a problem requiring an immediate solution, because public attention is focused on more pressing socio-economic problems.
