The main method of our research is thin anatomic preparation. Besides, for studying of a skull we produced preparations of bones of the head by method of the accelerated maceration with the subsequent morphometry. Conducted the radiographic research allowing to determine cranialis parameters. Established that the occipital bone forms a caudalis wall of a brain cavity and the corresponding part of the basis of a skull of a lynx Euroasian. The body of a wedge-shaped bone has two parts (the main and prewedge-shaped bones) and two couples wings (temporal and orbital). They form rostral part of the bone basis of a skull.
