This article analyzes the composition of species and the anatomical spectrum of the bone remains of the meat parts of the carcasses from the Timber Grave culture of Volga forest-steppe region. The author discovers the relationship of the given parameters with the age and sex and social status of the buried persons and with the chronological stages of the Timber Grave culture’s existence.
