Some aspects of demography and reproductive biology of the amphipod Crangonyx chlebnikovi Borutzky, 1928, inhabitant of the Kungur Ice cave, are discussed. The data on relative abundance of these crustaceans in subterranian lakes, mortality, fecundity, reproductive cycles, and the rate of growt are presented.
