Beauty of old age in the novel by I.A. Goncharov "The cliff"

The article considers the temporal characteristics of the old age in I.A. Goncharov’s novel «The Cliff». Compared to «An Ordinary History», old age in the last novel is diverse and evaluated differently by the writer. The «senile beauty» of Tatyana Markovna, which shows itself not only through external signs, but also through her inner world, causes unconditional admiration on the part of the author.
