Creativity in the structure of teenager's personality

The article highlights a number of psychological issues relating to the phenomenon of creativity. The article studies the creativity of 12-15 year-old adolescents. Creativity and creativeness are important for age understanding. Thorough study of the problem is basis for the implementation and development of creativity and individual approach to the learning process. The paper analyses the diagnostics results of adolescents' creativity. It defines the status of creativity in the structure of personal qualities of adolescents, traces relations between creative abilities and other personal qualities of an individual. The authors describe the procedures and the results of the study. As a psychological and diagnostic instrumentarium the following methods were applied: multifactor personality questionnaire of R. Cattell, a battery of tests "Creative reasoning" by E. E. Tunick. The authors analyse the adolescent's personality and show the interrelations between individual-psychological features and creativity. They also reveal the differences among the groups with various creativity level according to the number and strength of ties. The article deals with methodical difficulties and ways of diagnostics development of creativity. The study of creativity diagnostics reveals the range of features to be observed and corrected.
