Peasant revolts and rebellions in the period of revolutionary upheavals

Introduction. The variety of opinions about a reasons of peasant rebellions in the period of revolutionary upheavals is discovered in the article. The purpose of this article is to investigate of different approaches and argumentation in peasant’s movement research. Materials and Methods. Chronological and comparative methods, which allow to analyze all points of view on the ground of various historical materials, are used in submitted article. Results. At the end of XIX - in the beginning of XX centuries Russian peasantry has begun to encounter a problem of land scarcity because of over-population and incapacity of town to collect superfluous part of rural population. The land scarcity problem led to a hunger, impoverishment and cachexia of population. Tzarist and the Provisional Governments has failed the permission of this problem. The revolutionary upheavals of 1905-1907 and 1917-1922 years were the result of this problem. The basic mass of Russian population was consisted by peasantry (more than 70 %). The case when 70 % of popularity the country is in hunger, has no possibility to realize, there is no social elevator for them, unavoidable leads to spontaneous revoltб uprisings and revolutionary upheavals. The implications provide extremely complicated and many-sided description of peasant revolts. On the ground of differing perspectives, the author tries to explicate his own point of view which is premised on a local concrete-historical material. Discussion and Conclusion. Peasant’s movement during the Civil War and intervention is complicated and many-sided process. Perfectly reasonable arguably that one is most important key factors of revolutionary upheavals of 1917 was agrarian question, which has taken the form of one only phenomenon sectorial disparity between production sector agriculture.
