Peasant farm enterprises and households as material basis of non-agricultural activities subsidized regions

The article summarizes the concepts of “peasant farm enterprise” and “households”. The concept of "peasant farm enterprise" is characterized by a special form of entrepreneurship. It is organized by association of citizens with common ownership of property, that carries out production and other economic activities, based on personal involvement of it members. The concept of "households" is a kind of non-entrepreneurial activity. It means activity of individual business units engaged in the production and processing of agricultural products on their own or leased plots of land with the use of buildings, agricultural implements. Such activity is performed by personal labor of citizens and their families to satisfy their personal needs in food. The deterioration of the infrastructure in rural areas leads to the many problems. Among them: degradation of the village, a serious decline in agricultural production, disruption of reproduction processes in the agricultural sector, the formation of unfavorable economic conditions for agriculture, growth of social tensions in rural areas, falling living standards of rural population. The article analyzes the volume and structure of production of major agricultural products, as well as the amount and structure of the producers by categories of farms and average number of people employed in agriculture. The analysis revealed the need to diversify the activities of peasant farms and households and the expediency of development on their basis the non-agricultural activities in the four areas, including rural tourism. Article presents the authorial view of the place of rural tourism in the economy of region. Author believes that rural tourism it is the element, which ensures a useful result of fivefold sector (service sector - socio-administrative: sport, recreation, tourism), and uses the resources of the primary sector (the sphere of material production - mining: fisheries, agriculture).
