The identity of the person who committed the crimes is of great forensic importance. The identity of a serial killer is being investigated by criminologists with no less interest, since serial crimes are characterized by an increased degree of public danger. The psychological side of serial murders includes the relationship of the killer's personality with the victim's personality. The authors of this work investigate the personality characteristics of a serial killer and draw attention to the fact that the study of a victim of a serial crime can be the basis for the formation of a personal portrait of the killer himself.
