Criminalistic characteristics of crimes related to illegal logging of forest plantations

This scientific paper examines the generalized criminalistic characteristics of illegal logging of forest plantations established by Article 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The definition of the concept of criminalistic characteristics of this type of crime is proposed, its individual specific elements are highlighted. And on the basis of such studies, a system of criminalistic characteristics peculiar to this type of crime has been developed, consisting of all its elements. At the same time, criminal-legal signs of illegal logging of forest plantations are highlighted and problems of criminalistic methods of investigation of this type of crimes are identified.
