Forensic systematics of versions as a principle of search and cognitive activity

Бесплатный доступ

Investigators’ search and cognitive activities begin with putting forward versions, i.e. making a hypothetical reconstruction of a past event. Forensic versions are versions that are put forward by actors of cognitive activity. Investigators (inquiry officers), operational staff, a specialist, an expert, or the court may put these versions forward. Versions also differ depending on the cognitive objectives for which they are put forward, as well as on other grounds. The article notes that the versions put forward by actors of criminal proceedings must be real, logically substantiated and verifiable.
