Criminological characteristics of a person providing sexual services on a material basis

Introduction: sexual services provided on a material basis are an ever-expanding phenomenon that can be observed in various forms around the world, which indicates the globality of this phenomenon. Sexual acts committed with the participation of minors are usually accompanied by psychological effects, both on the side of providing such services and on the consumer, which leads to the formation of unhealthy sexual attitudes, needs, and desires. The paper gives a criminological portrait of a person who provides sexual services for financial remuneration, whereby it is possible to identify the most vulnerable group of people who can become “performers” of such services and, as a result, provide the necessary psychological support. The purpose of the study is a criminological characteristic of a person providing sexual services on a material basis.
