Criminological classification of drug dens as a basis for choosing counteraction measures

The article considers the criminological classification of drug dens, and presents the characteristics of marginal (primitive) and highly organized (elite) drug dens as well as their social danger. The subjects and objectives of countering drug dens are analyzed in the article. The general criminological, special criminological and individual measures to counter marginal (primitive) and highly organized (elite) drug dens are considered by the author. The concept of information anti-drug safety belts is formulated as an actual direction of ideological support of counteraction to drug dens. The types and mechanism of treatment of drug addicts in the system of countering marginal (primitive) drug dens are analyzed. A proposal is made on the need for the use of compulsory treatment for drug addicts.
