Criminological characteristics of crime and the main indicators of the characteristics of crime, its separate groups and types at the present time

The article considers the criminological characteristics peculiar to such a social phenomenon as crime. The author reveals the notions of the main characteristics of crime, presents their role in the study of crime as well as its separate groups and types. According to the results of the calculations the indicators of a number of quantitative and qualitative criminological characteristics of crime and specific types of crimes against a person and property over the past five years are given. The article presents a brief comparative analysis of the characteristics of these crimes.
