Criminological analysis of thefts using electronic means of payment in the coronavirus era

The article presents a criminological analysis of embezzlement with the use of electronic means of payment, studies modern trends in the field of cashless transactions in order to determine the system of measures to improve law enforcement practice. On the basis of the identified tendencies, the conclusions on the need to improve the basis of personal data protection of the credit institutions’ clients were formulated.
