Cryosystem analysis of the Yamal gas-bearing structures

Cryosystem analysis of parametric studies defines the cryogenic stratum as a geologically developing system: ”a cryogenic stratum in a gas-bearing structure”. Specific features of cryolithogenic process in the earth’s crust are shown to include accumulation and freezing of sediments, which are accompanied by sediment saturation with gas. Disturbance of the natural sedimentary bedding and in-situ permafrost conditions by gas-facility construction and gas-field development influences the construction methods and gas-producing technology.
