Cryptocurrency in the national legal system of the Russian Federation

Based on the analysis of the requirements of the current legislation, the author examines the legal status of crypto- currency in Russia. Using a systematic analysis (a sequence of conclusions establishing structural links between the current legislation and the principles of functioning of cryptocurrencies), it objectively substantiates the legal measures necessary to regulate the turnover of cryptocurrency and protect the rights and legitimate interests of bona fide participants in the Russian cryptocurrency market.
