The article is devoted to the study of the process of axiological system formation as the basis of structural and stylistic unity in the cycle of stories "Legends about God" by R.M. Rilke. Using the linguistic and hermeneutic method, contextual analysis, the techniques of sense crystallization identified the metasenses based on the author's key words Hдnde (Hands), Gott (God), Tod (Death). Taking into account the earlier research the author of the article revealed the metasenses of other keywords - Lahme (Paralyzed), Geschichte (History), Kinder (Children), Menschen (People), reconstructed and presented in the form of schematic art space «Legends about God» reflecting axiological installation of R.M. Rilke. The location of keywords representing artistic concepts, indicates the existence of two mirror worlds reflecting each other, the shell of which is Geschichte - a way of life, history. One of the worlds, with top of the generated keyword Kinder, symbolizing freedom and love, unites Gott, Menschen, Tod and Hände linking concepts "Gott" and "Menschen". Another world is expressed by the key words Gott, Menschen, Tod. The edge structure that separates these two worlds is Lahme. The article shows that the content of crystallized concepts is different: in the first world the keyword Gott expresses ideas about personal, sublime and spiritual, Menschen symbolizes spiritually rich people seeking for freedom, Tod is the fruit of life; in the second world Gott is associated with the concept of socially significant things, Menschen symbolizes people who are in constant search for themselves, Tod is intimidating mass death. The author proves the special role of keyword Hände in creating the artistic space of the considered cycle of stories: being a symbol of creativity, beautiful stream, it mediates between the Gott and Menschen and exists only in the first world.
