Criteria for the well-being of the modern Russian family

The modern Russian family is an actual, practically significant subject field for many scientific studies. However, insufficient attention is paid to the analysis of her well-being at the institutional, group and individual levels. In order to overcome this contradiction, the article suggests possible criteria for a comprehensive assessment of the well-being of this one of the most important institutions of society. Material grounds for analyzing family well-being, spiritual and moral, social, demographic, cultural, psychological and pedagogical signs of successful marital and child-parent relations, political and legal aspects of family safety, healthy lifestyle of the family, digital adaptability are considered. The importance of measuring not only objective indicators of family well-being, but also subjective self-perceptions of individuals’ family happiness is emphasized. The integrative-complex approach to interpretation of the well-being of the modern family as a social norm is considered in demand.
