Criteria and indicators of the formedness of students’ cognitive competence

The article considers the cognitive competence of students as an integrative dynamic characteristic of the personality, which is revealed in the productive solution of cognitive tasks, including information obtaining, processing and applying. The criteria of the formedness of cognitive competence are substantiated. They are motivational-value, cognitive, operational-activity and reflexive-evaluative ones. The indicators of the manifestation of the criteria revealed through the skills of the student as a consumer of information are presented.
