The article examines the experience of preparing and conducting student negotiation matches, their importance and adaptation for tournament purposes, time-schedule, regulations and criteria for evaluating such tournaments for the purpose of developing business skills among students. Based on a critical analysis of the evaluation criteria, the СQARC system of principles was proposed as the most objective for the jury.
