The criteria of understanding used by the teacher in elementary school

The article discusses the problems of understanding in the educational process: general characteristic of understanding, ways of explaining new material. Based on the criteria by which the teacher judges the pupil's understanding of the new educational material, the classification of criteria is proposed. Types of tasks are given to consolidate the studied material on the basis of the criteria used by the teacher to verify understanding.
