Criteria of athletic selection in the eastern martial arts on the stages of long-term training

The article reviews the results of the research concerned with the criteria of athletic selection in the Eastern Martial Arts on the stages of long-term training. The undertaken study of data of physical, technical and tactical skills, sport activities, physical development and morpho-functional parameters of young athletes doing Eastern Martial Arts determined the level of correlation between them in each age group. The author reveals the use of complex control qualifications for exposure of development level of various physical parameters of the young athletes for determination of their prospects.
