Criticism of classical theories of staff motivation taking into account modern business conditions

A review of scientific sources allows us to draw conclusions about the constant relevance of the problems of staff motivation. Staff motivation has a decisive influence on the success of an organization, it plays a key role in the formation of employees who not only perform their duties, but are also ready to be active, creative and initiative in their work. This helps to increase overall productivity and successfully achieve the goals of the organization. Despite the current trends in business development (including in the country aspect), classical theories of motivation remain the basis for explaining human behavior in an organization and forming prerequisites for high efficiency and effectiveness of business structures in turbulent conditions. However, the development of society also creates new requirements for staff motivation and this forces us to take a fresh look at the structure of the motivational mechanism described in the theories. The authors of the article tried to substantiate this conclusion by taking a critical look at the long-known theories of staff motivation.
