Crisis and unemployment in the Russian Federation

The article describes the dynamics of employment indicators during the economic crisis of 2014--2016. The increasing role of government in unemployment regulation is identified, as well as the growing importance of small entrepreneurship and private initiative in the matters of deriving incentives for gradual economic growth and increasing employment. The international comparative study brought a conclusion on the necessity of the Russian economy modernization and stimulating growth of human capital.
