Research interests of V. I. Mayorov (to the 65th anniversary of the outstanding scientist)

The article considers part of the published extensive scientific work of Vladimir Ivanovich Mayorov. In his work, he conducted research in various areas of Russian law: administrative, administrative-procedural, criminal, criminal procedure. He studied the problems of constitutional and customs law, victimology. Vladimir Ivanovich devoted part of his scientific works to the problems of road traffic safety, for the first time singling out the concept of “interest of a road user” in it. In addition, he took an active part in the preparation of educational publications for students in educational institutions, including institutions of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia. In this regard, he repeatedly investigated the problems of highquality professional training of employees of the internal Affairs bodies.
