The carbon cycle in natural and anthropogenically changed ecosystems of taiga

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents an overview of the current state of the research on the carbon cycle in biological systems. In the last century the human activity related to transformation of natural landscapes has dramatically increased. In some places the human impact has completely changed the biogeochemical cycle of one of the most important biogenic elements - carbon. Especially significant changes are observed in such relatively conservative systems as soils that are not able to recover as fast as plant and animal communities.
