The Crimean front and the 11th wehrmacht army: dislocation and party control bodies in early May 1942

On the basis of archival documents, the dislocation of formations and units of the Crimean front was studied, as well as the deployment of staffs of the army and front level in May 1942, on the eve of the German-Romanian offensive. Data are presented on the dislocation of the formations and separate parts, the bodies of the corps, the separate commands and the entire 11th Wehrmacht Army and allied Romanian formations attached to it.
