The article is devoted to the memory of the Crimean Estonian Roland Valkman (13.04.1922-07.05.2007), veteran of the great Patriotic war, teacher, local historian, one of the founders of the Pervomaisky district historical folk Museum in the village Pervomaisky Republic Of Crimea. Also some problems of cultural and spiritual formation of representatives of the Estonian ethnos on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula at the turn of XIX-XX centuries are considered.
