The Crimean Tatar movement: the alternatives to conflicts and participation in peace-building

The article identifies the indicators of the political positioning of the Crimean Tatars’ movement in conditions of reunification of Crimea with Russia. The author fixed the parameters of conflictness of Majlis of Crimean Tatars and the causes of the decline of its influence. The tendencies of constructive engagement of the party «Milli Firka» and the movement «Qirım birligi» in contemporary peace-building are also identified. The peculiarities of the Russian official policy towards the Crimean Tatars are discovered. The author identified methods of ethnic and confessional policy of the authorities of the Republic of Crimea. Conflictness of the Mejlis is analyzed on the base of such parameters as the political status of the Republic, the question of the rehabilitation of the Crimean Tatar people, land reform, linguistic and educational policy in Crimea. The author associated the positive trends in the Crimean Tatars’ movement with the party of «Milli Firka» and organization «Qirım Birligi».
