Kuban tobacco industry in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries

The article describes development of the tobacco industry in the Kuban region during the post-reform period (1861-1917). The author considers the features of tobacco factories development, presents the statistical data that characterize the degree of tobacco production development in Kuban. It is concluded that there was a class of local commercial and industrial bourgeoisie from tobacco manufacturers in the region.
