The article is devoted to study a very important period in the life of the oldest artist of Kuban, Hayk Avetisovich Avetisyan: the time of his education in France. The authors use the memories of the artist and archival sources stored in the Krasnodar Regional Art Museum named after F.A. Kovalenko.
