The article is devoted to Zongri Culture revealed to the south of Qinghai (Kuku-Nor) Lake and by the moment dated to the epoch of the Early Bronze Age. More narrow limits (most likely, the XXVI-XXI centuries BC) of the culture (in comparison with the view of Chinese archaeologists) are substantiated. The authors also analyze the ritual of cremation which serves as additional argument to attribute Zongri Culture to the early Qiang tribes (the latter was the base for formation of the Tibetans).
