Modern civilization has grown on the achievements of science and technology, so the interest in the problems of science is very great. On many issues related to the essence of science, discussions are constantly ongoing. The focus of this article is on the “cultural shift” in the philosophy of science. If positivism completely denied the influence of culture on the development of science, then postpositivism directly recognizes it. The “Third World” in the teaching of K. Popper is considered as a culture as a whole.
