Coffee culture in Russia and Vietnam: comparative analysis

Coffee is a globally popular beverage, yet each country possesses its unique approach to the tradition of its consumption and its own coffee culture. In Russia and Vietnam, coffee plays an important role in social and cultural life, representing the unique cultural development of each country. The tradition of coffee drinking, imported from abroad under the influence of Western cultural expansion, continues to evolve and adapt to contemporary needs and lifestyles, providing individuals with opportunities for communication, creativity, and relaxation. This article analyses and compares the coffee culture in Russia and Vietnam in terms of its development history, consumption habits, brewing style and socio-cultural significance of coffee, explores the differences and similarities in the approach of Russians and Vietnamese to coffee, thereby revealing its role in the everyday culture of the two countries.
